I thoroughly enjoyed the spotless room with a very good size bathroom. the staff were really friendly. - the location was marvelous. - In particular, the young girl in the restaurant was excellent. - There was a Pelican fish restaurant nearby to grab something to eat.

Close to promenade, town and theatres. Provided Gluten free menu options.(though see dislikes) Lift to all floors. Quiet room. Friendly staff (esp restaurant)
Narrow (in places) staircases. Beers on offer limited. Despite Gluten free requirement being mentioned at time of booking and 2 days before trip by telephone, it was forgotten for the arrival night.

Relaxing in the front lounge and playing some music for my friends.
I would prefer a wider menu; my wife was quite happy with the menu. The original booking was made for a group of friends at a time when I was unable to attend. I later found that I could attend and decided to join the party. However, I I was unable to take advantage of the original "deal" which had been offered to my friends and I had to pay more than them for the same weekend and meals.

Good location close to seafront, theatre complex and town centre. Attentive and friendly staff. Efficient service at breakfast. Public areas good for a hotel of this type.
Room at rear and rather tired and old-fashioned. Beds and especially pillows and quilt rather uncomfortable.

It's a good area so close to the beach and the pier. Also some resturants and the shopping centre. The hotel that we stay for two nights and its really lovely nice good hotel. Very good fresh foods for our breakfast. Looking very nice clean area of Eastbourne and ever so pretty to see the lovely gardens. And finally we went to The Bannacer Pub to meet deaf freinds from Ovingdean Hall School for the deaf reunion party. We have had a good time threre and also have watch the fireworks display.
